Career
Guidance :
There exists a career guidance and counselling cell in
the college which offers academic and personal counselling
to the students. The activities of the cell are :-
1) Every Saturday the career guidance cell is open to
students from 1 P.M. to 4 P.M. under the guidance of expert
teachers.
2) Occasionally the cell invites peers from outside to
enlighten the students and academic opportunities open
to them inside and outside the state.
3) The cell makes available the relevant literature to
the students.
4) The members of the cell offer personal guidance to
the students.
5) The cell organizes a monthly workshop for the students
on different career opportunities.
NCC & NSS :
The NCC is an organization which provides a golden opportunity
to the students to develop leadership qualities, spirit
of services and self confidence. It helps them to be disciplined
and build a dynamic personality and furthers the cause
of National integration. Students can opt for Advance
course on First Aid. At the end of the prescribed course
an examination is held and certificates are issued to
the successful cadets.
The National Service Scheme (NSS) is an organization providing
opportunity for students to develop their personality
through community service. Students of our college have
earned name and fame from these organizations
Canteen
:
College canteen remains open from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. It
is under the supervision of a contractor who is generally
an ex-student of this college.
Sports
Facilities:
College provides facilities for outdoor and indoor games.
It has a basketball, volleyball and a badminton court.
Drinking
Water:
The college takes extra care of drinking water for students
and sterilized drinking water is supplied at certain
places of the Campus. At present 6no. of AQUAGUARD has
been installed in various locations of the college to
provide pure drinking water to the students. Apart from
this the College administration installed one AQUAGUARD
COOLWATER at library premises for students.
Hostel :
(a)
The College has one newly built
Girls hostel where 33 girls can stay in a comfortable and
hygienic and homely environment. In the hostel pure
drinking water (through aqua guard) is provided. The
hostel is well secured by college security personnel and
maintained with necessary facilities like electricity,
running water and common rooms with TV, sports items etc.
All the rooms are well furnished. There is a mess facility
for arranging the meals for the hostellers. There are
watchmen for security and sweepers to clean the premises.
The students also have access to games like table tennis
and badminton.
